Take a scenic trip from Dublin to the southern end of Ireland. As you leave the city behind, the urban landscape changes to that of the rolling hills and hedges of the Irish countryside.
You will then travel to one of Ireland's seven natural wonders, the Rock of Cashel, a multi-period monastic site, which was a fortress before it became the seat of the bishop of the diocese of Cashel, and holds an important place in the Irish architectural history.
Kiss the famous Blarney Stone situated on the parapets of the Blarney Castle to gain the gift of eloquence. The grand Scottish baronial style Blarney House reflects a bygone era of wealth and statesmanship. Venture down the narrow paths of the Rock Close and find the Wishing Steps through an archway of limestone rocks.
Your final stop for the day will be Cahair Castle, once the stronghold of the powerful Butler family. Situated on a rocky island on the River Suir, the castle retains its impressive keep, tower and much of its original defensive structure, making it one of the best-preserved structures in Ireland.
This fantastic tour takes a circular route so that you do not see the same scenery twice the whole day. Every time you look out of the coach window you will find something new!
